Evensong Choir

The Evensong Choir sings Choral Evensong on the third Sunday of each month at 6.00pm from September to June. This is a traditional Cathedral Evensong with sung Psalm and musical settings of the Magnificat & Nunc Dimittis and an Anthem. The choir starts practising at 5:00pm in the Cathedral and then goes on to sing the service, which lasts for approximately one hour. It helps if you are a good sight-reader. But all who can sing in tune and are interested in enhancing the worship are most welcome. Just come along and join us at the Cathedral 10 minutes before the beginning of the practice.
