“Christians in Central” Tuesday Luncheon
13th December 2011 1.00pm Li Hall
WHAT IS THE ANGLICAN ALLIANCE? Come and find out.
Many people ask the question: What is our church doing in times of crises and disasters around the world? In fact, a great deal is done without media attention. The church gets on with what it is called to do, which is to be a serving and healing force for good in the world.
The Anglican Alliance is grounded in and shaped by our understanding of God’s integral and holistic mission as defined by the Anglican Communion’s Five Marks of Mission. We believe that we should be proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom not only by word, but also through our response to human need with loving service; by seeking to transform unjust structures of society; and by striving to safeguard the integrity of creation while sustaining and renewing the life of planet Earth.
The Anglican Alliance is the ‘Relief Development and Advocacy Department’ of our Communion of Churches.
