Outreach Projects

For the Son of man also came not to be served but to serve..." (Mark 10:45a)St John's has for many years operated outreach projects. They each seek to serve different needs in Hong Kong. They are run by a mix of professional and volunteer staff.

The Counselling Service
St John's Cathedral Counselling Service is a warm inviting place and provides a place where people from all walks of life can obtain excellent professional and totally confidential help. The web pages for the different outreach projects are available by clicking on the links on the left menu.

MFMW
The Mission for Migrant Workers was formed over 30 years ago in Hong Kong and is an ecumenical institution serving migrant workers in distress.

HIV Education Centre
The Centre provides a service to the community to educate women and children about HIV and reproductive health. It is a world renowned centre for this type of education.

HDH
Helpers for Domestic Helpers provides legal advice and assistance to foreign domestic workers.
