Genesis is an opportunity to explore Christianity in a relaxed atmosphere with a meal and informal discussion. Genesis is a course that explores life’s big questions. It doesn’t provide easy answers, but explores the meaning of life from a liberal Christian perspective. This perspective is inclusive and values tradition but seeks to interpret it in the light of a modern understanding about life and the world we live in. Genesis is based on the Anglican tradition. Each week the topic for discussion is presented by a member of the clergy team of St John’s Cathedral. The topic is then informally discussed in small groups.
If you want to join this Genesis course, please send an email to dean@stjohnscathedral.org.hk with the subject “Genesis enrolment” stating your name, address and phone number. We will then contact you. Leaflets with more details are available at the back of the Cathedral.
