As an active supporter of community and outreach projects, the Bookstore is proud to promote Fair Trade goods. In fact we offer the largest selection of Fair Trade products in Hong Kong. From coffee and tea to chocolate and nuts. By purchasing Fair Trade goods you can help make a difference to the lives of some of the poorest farmers and workers in the world.

What is Fair Trade?
Fair Trade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. Fair Trade standards are set for a range of commodities from the developing world including tea, sugar and cocoa. The standards include a Fair Trade price wich covers the cost of production and a premium which in invested in the local community.
